MUSEUM OF GREEK CULTURE

The Benaki Museum of Greek Culture, the flagship in a network of seven Benaki cultural venues across Athens, offers a unique-worldwide panorama of Greek history and art from prehistory to the 20th century. It was bequeathed by Antonis Benakis (1873–1954) and opened to the public in 1931. It hosts temporary exhibitions, a restaurant focusing on Greek cuisine and the longest-established museum shop in Greece.
